Liesa joined the JCTA staff in 2007. She was a product of Jefferson County public schools and a music teacher in the district for 18 years. Liesa has a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a masters plus rank 1 from the University of Louisville. Liesa is also the staff person who works with JCTA-Retired, the Social Workers' Caucus, and the Job Share and Part-time Teachers' Caucus. She is also the lead, state-endorsed School-Based Decision Making (SBDM) trainer and a transfer workshop trainer.
